Spring Bonsai Exhibition

Nonprofit Events Exhibit

What’s Happening?

The art of bonsai cannot exist without science. For a tree to grow in a pot, it needs soil, water, air and light – in the correct amounts. But, like people or pets, some trees are very adaptable; others are more difficult to please. During their spring exhibition, members of the Nebraska Bonsai Society showcase their members' most captivating bonsai specimens, answer questions from guests, and sell pre-bonsai stock and supplies.

Members of the Nebraska Bonsai Society love to share their passion for the art of styling trees with others – and, through this event, can help you better understand both the art and the science of bonsai in Nebraska.

The exhibition will be housed in the foyer of the visitor and education center where you can feel the zen behind this ancient living art. Included with paid garden admission. Free for garden members.

Visit nebonsai.org to learn more about the club.
