2024 Production Institute Film Showcase

Multi-Cultural Discussion FIlm

What’s Happening?

Join us for the free Production Institute Film Showcase, celebrating the 13 original short films produced by the 2024 Production Institute cohort.

Fellows were selected from a highly competitive pool of talented South Side media makers and underwent 14 weeks of intensive production training to produce and direct their own 5-minute narrative and documentary projects. The development of these projects deepened their artistic capacities, strengthened community connections, and built collaborative relationships across generations and gender.

The film screening is held in person on Sunday, September 22 at 4pm in the Performance Hall at the Logan Center (915 E 60th St). The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers moderated by Elizabeth Myles, Editing Instructor and Digital Storytelling Initiative Program Manager, and a light reception.

Please RSVP so that we have an accurate estimate of attendees for this exciting screening of community stories. An RSVP does not guarantee a seat at the screening, so plan on arriving early to ensure that you will be admitted.

We’re thrilled to present the films of our 2024 Cohort:

– Leana Allen
– EJ Clark
– Sharyon Culberson
– Mfon Ekot
– Aquarius Ester Alegria
– Ope Famuditimi
– Kee Humphrey
– Leslie Jones
– Nicole Joseph
– Arianna Lawson
– Stacy Patrice
– Nicole Reed
– Andrew Torrence
