Meet Adeze Wilford

Blackmon Perry Curator of African American Art and Art of the African Diaspora

Join us for an exclusive, intimate afternoon at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art as we welcome Adeze Wilford, the newly appointed Blackmon Perry Curator of African American Art and Art of the African Diaspora.

During this special event, Adeze will:

Share highlights from her distinguished career in the museum field
Offer unique insights into her curatorial practice
Provide an exclusive glimpse into upcoming projects and programs she’s excited to bring to Memphis’ art museum
Hear directly from Adeze as she discusses her journey in the art world, from her impactful roles at The Studio Museum in Harlem and The Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, to her vision for celebrating and supporting Black art and artists at Memphis' art museum.

Following the talk, members and donors at the Insider level and above are invited to stay for complimentary drinks and nibbles in the newly refurbished Rotunda Lounge.
