Seasonal Qigong Workshop & Training - Align with the Rhythms of Nature

Discover the ancient practice of Qigong, a cornerstone of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that integrates breath, movement, and intention to harmonize the body’s energy, or Qi (life force). In this two-part workshop series, we will explore the natural flow of energy through the Five Elements, learning how to unblock and balance Qi for greater vitality, emotional well-being, and inner peace. Taught by Sara Chesterfield.

Spring & Early Summer Protocols
April 5 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Register by April 1)

🌿 Spring is associated with the Wood element, which governs the Liver and Gallbladder meridians—organs responsible for smooth energy flow. When Qi stagnates here, it can manifest as anger, frustration, or indecision. Through dynamic movement, tapping, acupressure, and breathwork, we will release tension and cultivate insight and patience.

☀️ ️ Early Summer corresponds to the Fire element, linked to the Heart and Small Intestine meridians, the center of love, connection, and clarity. Blocked Qi in this system can create emotional vulnerability, confusion, or restlessness. This practice will help you transform these imbalances into openness, joy, and resilience.

Late Summer, Autumn & Winter Protocols
May 3 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Register by April 29)

🌾 Late Summer (Earth Element) – Balancing the Spleen and Stomach meridians to transform worry and overthinking into grounded empathy and satisfaction.

🍂 Autumn (Metal Element) – Releasing grief by harmonizing the Lungs and Large Intestine meridians, shifting toward acceptance and letting go.

❄️ Winter (Water Element) – Transforming fear into trust by strengthening the Kidneys and Urinary Bladder, supporting deep restoration and resilience.

What You’ll Experience
✔️ Acupressure & Tapping Techniques to clear blocked meridians

✔️ Seasonal Qigong Movements designed to align with the body’s natural energy cycles

✔️ Breathwork & Meditation to cultivate inner balance and emotional well-being

✔️ Practical Applications for daily life to support your health through seasonal transitions

Investment: $140 per session or $280 for both

Offered In-person at Crossroads Nazarene Church in Chandler, AZ, Online via Zoom, or Self-Paced by Recording

All levels are welcome! Whether you are new to Qigong or an experienced practitioner, this workshop will deepen your understanding of energy flow and self-healing. Yoga instructors will learn transitional movements to use in their sequencing, how to add breathwork and meditations to your sequence. 

Students and teachers are welcome! Continuing Education & M-AYST credit offered for teachers.
