Eliane Amherd and Eliane Delage present

EURO GLAM - a voyage to the Euro Hits of the 80s

Swiss-NYC guitarist, singer and songwriter ELIANE AMHERD and Brazilian-NYC guitarist and songwriter ELIANE DELAGE revive the 80s in all its trash and glamour! Evoking memories of first kisses on a souped-up motorcycle, neon-colored leg warmers, mullets…Breaking down Eros, ABBA, Falco and a multitude of keyboard-soaked hits into sleek arrangements featuring their signature touch: An eclectic mix of Jazz, Brazilian, Funk, Blues and African grooves and a loving dose of nostalgia.

Eliane Amherd is a genre-busting singer, guitarist and songwriter. Born in Switzerland and based in NYC, she has performed in clubs and festivals from Buenos Aires to Berlin, Bangkok to Beijing, and everywhere in between. Combining Jazz, Latin, African and Brazilian rhythms with funky grooves and retro pop, she creates a sophisticated sound all her own. You can find her original music on Netflix, in several award-winning series, and on international broadcasts. Her melodies and lyrics are as fresh as the Swiss Alps where she was raised, taking you on a voyage from the stunning vineyards of Switzerland to New York City’s canyons of steel.

Eliane Delage, a versatile Brazilian guitarist, masterfully blends rock, funk, and Brazilian music in both band collaborations and captivating solo performances. Eliane has performed on iconic New York stages, including sold out shows at Rockwood Music Hall and her 2019 debut at Zankel Hall, where her electrifying electric guitar arrangement of Carmina Burana earned a roaring ovation. She returned to Carnegie Hall in 2022 with "Loud as a Shout" and again in 2024 with "Aquarela do Brasil." She continues to captivate audiences with her virtuosity and effortless musicianship both in the studio or on stage.

Amherd and Delage are sisters in music who have played in the legendary NYC all female psychedelic 70ties Rock band As Lolas and have recorded several singles together. Their latest project EUROGLAM is a joyful homage to their childhood.

Eliane Amherd is the sort of performer that we’ll be hearing a lot more from if there’s any justice in the world. - Jazz Blues & the truth

Eliane Amherd sounds what would happen if Norah Jones let her inner Patty Smyth (of Scandal), Pat Benatar, and Natalie Cole out. This is the pop music that pop music itself forgot it could be. - This is Book’s music

I am only giving Eliane Delage 5 stars because there isn't an option for more! - AM New York
