What’s Happening?

Introducing The Dabbler's Workshop, a fun and exploratory arts and craft class designed for those who love to experiment and try new things! Join us Saturday afternoons for a creative journey where each week brings a new medium and project to discover. Over the course of 12 weeks, we will be offering hands-on experience with a variety of materials, including paint, clay, glass, and textiles.

This unique class is taught by a team of talented instructors from Inspired Minds Art Center, each bringing their own expertise and creative flair. Whether you're looking to sign up for the entire semester, a specific month, or just the projects that catch your eye, The Dabbler's Workshop offers flexibility to fit your schedule. This is the perfect opportunity to explore your creative side, meet like-minded individuals, and bring your artistic visions to life. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity!

Ages 13 to Adult

November 2nd: Easy Watercolored Floral 

In this watercolor class session, easily create an expert looking 5 x 7 inch floral painting using a pre-stamped floral image! Watercolor never was so easy!  If watercolor has intimidated you in the past, but you'd love to try it, this class is for you!

November 9th: Fiber Art Session - The Wooly World of Felting

In this class, tudents will be presented with the basics of felting: one of the essential building blocks of fiber art. Students will work with wool roving (unspun dyed wool fibers) to create either a 2D wool painting, or a 3D wool sculptural pieces through the methods of needle felting. 

November 16th: Teen & Adult Creativity Lab - Clay Session

Using pottery skills like coiling and slab rolling, get creative with clay sculpture, led by instructor Emily Hohertz! Bring your ideas and inspiration, or come with a blank slate! No prior skills needed. 

November 23rd: Burning Impressions - Beginner’s Pyrography Workshop

Discover the art of pyrography with instructor Joy Bliss in this engaging 2-hour beginner’s workshop. "Burning Impressions" introduces you to the basics of woodburning, where you’ll learn to create stunning designs on wood using simple tools and techniques.
