The Band’s historic farewell concert in 1976 is honored in grand style, as some of the DC area’s finest performers join together to play the iconic songs performed by The Band, and their guests, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, Dr. John, Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell, & Ronnie Hawkins. The Last Waltz was performed at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom on Thanksgiving night.

Newmyer Flyers Last Waltz Tribute was one of the first in the nation to tribute this historic event and and since its debut in 2012, it has been performed to sold out audiences each November at The Hamilton. Featuring renowned performers with a full band and a 6 piece horn section, the Last Waltz tribute is a tribute show like no other. It features  beloved Band songs including Up On Cripple Creek, Ophelia. Don’t Do it, It Makes No Difference, I Shall Be Released, Rag Mama Rag, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down and The Shape Im In as well as those performed by Clapton, Van Morrison, Dr John, Neil Young etc. including Caravan, Further on Up the Road, Helpless & Sucha Night.

Newmyer Flyer is the 2nd production company from Band House Gigs co-founder Ronnie Newmyer. Past shows include; Laurel Canyon, Love Songs; The Beatles, The Best of Jimi Hendrix & Janis Joplin, and The Songs of Burt Bacharach & Hal David
