With their heavily anticipated tour on the horizon, Matte Blvck returns with an epic new single, "Vows". Driven by heavy frenzied beats, "Vows" propels the listener into a pulsating sea of haunting and distorted textures, along with searing dance-floor basslines that put amodern spin on the band's love of 90's electronic music."
For their new single, Matte Blvck recruited Grammy award nominee Aaron Short, whose work includes "The Naked
and Famous " and "Broods", to take control of the mixing board; allowing the band to push their sonic foundations into new and darker territories.
Matte Blvck's debut album "I'm Waving. Not Drowning" captured the attention of listeners around the world thanks to the band's unique ability to weave a varying degree of moods and genres into a sound that is both familiar yet uniquely their own.
"Midnight & Angel" represents the first post-pandemic work from band members Alex Gonzales, Daniel Corrales, and Bidi Cobra, and serves as a delicious teaser of their forthcoming LP, VOWS; scheduled for release this summer.
VOWS will see the band dive into new, deeper musical territories while remaining true to their dark core.
Matte Blvck has taken the music scene by storm with their electrifying performances and captivating live visual arts. Their use of multiple generations of analog and digital
instruments, combined with stunning visual effects, creates an unforgettable experience for fans. SOCIAL ORDER
https://www.socialordermusic.com/
While the world was shut down in 2020, Social Order was formed. A collaboration to combat isolation and generate purposeful creativity, Social Order gelled into a band by wrapping melodic, hooked-filled pop songs with a synth-laden post-punk sound. Two years later, the trio of vocalist/guitarist Mason Musso (Metro Station), drummer Anthony Improgo (Metro Station, Parade of Lights), and guitarist Andrew Ward (Nuwave Fighters) partnered with Audioneer for a six-song release entitled “How To Lie”, which included four previously released singles, and the new title track along with an alternative version of the “How To Lie” single featuring goth chanteuse Raven Quinn.
On Valentine’s Day 2023, the band released the single “Worst Way”, an angsty heart ripper with a punk dancefloor beat that was immediately featured on Spotify’s Darkwave playlist. Social Order then dropped “All My Life” on May 1, which continues the band’s exploration into the subjects of romanticizing the past, depression, and the complicated feelings inherent in toxic relationships.
Their latest release from the end of July is “Boys”, which mines the psyche of self-deception and rationalization in pursuit of romantic desires. Another Spotify Darkwave playlist entry, the song was mixed and mastered by Korine’s Trey Frye. Writing, recording, and producing their own material, Social Order has become a self-contained unit--even handling all their own video production and digital visual content. Social Order plans to release their second EP, “Tantalize,” in October 2023.
SEVIT

Post-Punk.com - “Sevit’s music, which can switch from the sentimental to (surprisingly, even) the oddly anthemic lures you in. But the bursts of triumph in Sevit’s music are fleeting; their strength only helps coax a wellspring of feelings deep in the listener’s gut; and sometimes, if you align yourself too intently with Sevit’s aural performance, it can feel like your heart might rip out of your chest.”
SEVIT is a modern post-punk band from Dallas, Texas, composed of front man Mario Tremaine, keyboardist and programmer, Cam B., guitarist Brian Carlos Weems, and bassist Maddie Fritz. SEVIT was formed in 2018, with original members Cam B. and Brian Carlos Weems. After signing to the Peruvian label InClub Records, they released their first full length album, On the Edge of a Darker Place, in 2020. On the Edge of a Darker Place was well received by the post punk and alternative community, garnering favorable reviews and write ups from notable sites like Post-Punk.com and Obscura Undead to name a few.
In 2022, SEVIT gained a new lineup, adding Mario Tremaine and Maddie Fritz as their new front man and bassist respectively. SEVIT’s sound draws influences from genres such as post-punk and darkwave, as well as implementing elements of synth-pop, New Wave, and even glam rock to create a unique appeal to listeners. The band’s influences are reflective of their sound pulling strong inspirations from Clan of Xymox, Joy Division, The Sisters of Mercy, Gary Numan, the Cure, David Bowie, and Siouxsie and the Banshees. SEVIT has already impacted the dark subculture by opening for notable, national touring acts such as The Chameleons, Vision Video, She Wants Revenge, Twin Tribes, She Past Away, Actors, Bootblacks and Wingtips, while also playing several local shows to a booming response from fans.
The band is currently recording and compiling new, original material with the updated lineup in addition to planning their first national tour.
