Tea for 250

Tastings

What’s Happening?

Enjoy a hot cup of tea, along with tea treats from a local Richmond bakery and period music, in this limited-seating event inspired by the 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. Teatime will feature Bohea tea, one of the most commonly consumed types of black tea imported to Great Britain’s North American colonies during the 18th century. This tea variety featured prominently on December 16, 1773, when 240 chests of Bohea were dumped into Boston harbor in a dramatic act of protest that set the stage for the American Revolution.

Price is per person. Table sizes will be scaled to accommodate the total number of tickets in each order, up to six.
