C'EST BON CAJUN DANCE BAND: hard-rockin, foot-stompin Cajun dancehall music!
WEBSITE: www.facebook.com/cestboncajunband
C’est Bon includes Barbara Sanders on accordion & vocals, Jane Delisa and Susi Mills on twin fiddles & vocals, Betsy Fuller on guitar & vocals, and Evelyn Schneider on bass. These harmonious sisters have been singing and playing high-energy Cajun music to crowds in the area for over two decades, keeping the spirit alive and well. Since coming together as a band in September 2010, C’est Bon has taken Northeast by storm, playing at dancehalls, festivals and clubs from Rochester, NY to Times Square, DC and Fort Lauderdale. Driving it all is their heartfelt love for the music and people of southwest Louisiana, and their dedication to keeping it real.
It’s hard to tell who’s having more fun: the band or their audience – but one thing's for sure: a good time is guaranteed for all.
Here’s what people are saying about C’est Bon:
• “The Bop Shop's 14 Fridays series brought the heat to get you off your seat with an outstanding show from the all-female Cajun band C'est Bon. This is not subtle music. It's revved up both musically and rhythmically with a load of energy and stamina. The ladies of C'est Bon traded off vocals over the pump of the button accordion...It was passionate, immediate, sexy and cool.” - Frank DeBlaise, City Newspaper, Rochester NY
• "If anyone hasn't gotten a taste of these ladies' music, you're in for a definite treat. This is one of the best things out of the Northeast, if not the recent best in Cajun music. 'In your face,' but with a big happy smile." - Jesse Lége, Cajun Music Hall of Fame inductee
• "I love your band! Y'all are such fun. You’re respectfully channeling a love for the Balfas and traditional Cajun music. Bon job!” - Ann Savoy, esteemed musician, author, and record producer
