Presentation Networking

What’s Happening?

Millwork Conversations will provide an opportunity to learn from people across communities right here in Nebraska and across the country about new ideas and what’s possible – how to push past real and imagined boundaries. Each month will provide an inspiring, memorable experience for attendees through compelling conversations.

Joining us this month is Conversation Leader, Andy Norman.

A fourth-generation Nebraskan, born in Grant and raised in Imperial, Andy Norman is a veteran journalist-turned copywriter-turned nonprofit professional. He’s the co-founder and executive director of Rabble Mill — a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides alternative youth programming in Lincoln and Omaha.

The lack of diversity and culture in Norman's small, rural hometown inspired in him a lifelong pursuit to create transformational experiences where there otherwise aren’t, and to create true, long term community impact by investing in underdogs — especially young people.

In his free time, he stays busy in the music industry, co-operating small talent management and indie publishing companies. He and his wife Angie live with their son, Townes, in Omaha’s Benson neighborhood.

Timeline:

5:00pm | Doors Open

5:10pm | Conversation Kick Off!

5:45pm | Q&A

6:00pm | Stick Around for a Social Hour with us in Kros Strain Draft Works

*Kros Strain's new Draft Works location is right next to us in The Dock at Millwork Commons!
