Drink Local Nebraska Month

Cider Beer Craft

What’s Happening?

The Nebraska Craft Brewers Guild is proud to bring back the Drink Local Nebraska campaign for a fourth year.  The Guild is challenging Nebraskans to consume nothing but Nebraska produced beers, hard ciders, and seltzers throughout the month. We are proud of the delicious brews being put out by our industry AND the economic and social impact they are making in their communities across the state.

How can you help?

1.  Take the Pledge here!

2.  Get out and visit Nebraska breweries, cideries, craft bars, restaurants, and retailers who choose to serve local brews - try something new!

3.   Follow the Guild on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and share our Drink Local content with your network.

Watch for Drink Local Nebraska TV commercials, radio advertisements, billboards, social media, and more - all geared at sharing the social and economic impact of the craft brewing industry in Nebraska via the following outlets:

🍺 TV commercial via KETV NewsWatch 7 in the Omaha metro area

🍺 Billboards in Omaha, Lincoln, Norfolk, North Platte, Kearney, Grand Island, Hastings, and Scottsbluff

🍺 BeerMe commercial, brewery locator map, and news article with Lee Enterprises in your town's newspaper and digital editions!

🍺 Drink Local Nebraska radio advertising on 1620 the Zone and our Friday sponsored series #OneBeerFriday with Unsportsmanlike Conduct.

Making a difference...  With nearly 70 craft breweries producing 50,000 barrels of beer, cider and seltzer annually, Nebraska’s craft barrel production ranks 45th in the nation, however its per capita economic impact ranks 13th. Plus, the industry’s 3% to 4% market share in the state represents $631 million in economic impact and supports more than 3,500 jobs.  In addition, the beer and cider producers in Nebraska are utilizing local ingredients like apples, hops, and honey and spent grain is shared with cattle farmers to help cut their costs on feed. The craft brewing industry encompasses agricutlture, manufacturing, farming, and more.

When you lift up that beer, cider, or seltzer this October - feel good, because you're part of this amazing story.
