I Give You My Home

What’s Happening?

Join Guerilla Opera and Mosesian Arts for a world premiere event!

This operatic film inspired by the life of Rose Standish Nichols, a true-life women's peace party and suffrage activist and professional architect, brings to light this singular Bostonian woman's efforts to affect change. "I Give You My Home" features music an original libretto (in English) by local composer Beth Wiemann and is brought to life by the acclaimed filmmaker Cara Consilvio. The film was shot on location at the Nichols House Museum (Boston, MA), Path of Life Sculpture Garden (Windsor, VT), Saint-Gaudens National Park (Cornish, NH), Naulakha (Rudyard Kipling House) (Dummerston, VT), and Scott Farm Orchard (Dummerston, VT).

The screening will include live introductions from the composer and from staff of the Nichols House Museum. A reception with light refreshments and a cash bar will follow. Festive attire is encouraged but not required. Help us celebrate this momentous occasion in a style you enjoy!
