Small-Space Gardening

Local Spring Support Local!

What’s Happening?

Whether it’s a small plot, a single raised bed, or a few containers on the balcony, Brittany Beyer of The Big Garden will walk you through the key considerations and steps for successful small-space gardening. Starting with the basics – like healthy soil preparation – she’ll help you lay the foundation for a high-yielding garden. Then, she’ll dive into techniques like vertical gardening, succession planting, container gardening, and square-foot gardening for an even more productive garden.

You don’t have to have a big yard to enjoy the delicious taste, added nutrition, and sense of accomplishment that come with growing your own food. So come join us and learn how to grow more in the space you have!

More about Mulhall's
We like plants, people, and beautiful spaces. John Mulhall came to Omaha in 1953 to landscape, and now, three generations later, we’re as committed as we’ve ever been to making Omaha a more beautiful place to live. Today we’re a team of a few hundred people, but our focus remains the same: working together to engage our community and share our passion for the beauty of the natural world. And we have fun doing it.
