Postpartum and Postabortion Care

What’s Happening?

The waters of Ixchel’s remembrance run deep. Many of our Moon nd Waterbearing Goddesses hold space for the reproductive organs in ways that have been forgotten or obscured by Western frameworks. We will analyze the guidance of Ixchel when it comes to Postpartum and Post Abortive Care and the medicine of the serpent, flower and rabbit that she held key to as regenerative fierce tender aspects in our bodily systems. Hopefully imparting connection and actual tools for healing, health, communion w/ nature, restructuring and interconnectivity.

Vanessa Ehecatl Santos, mother of three, is an Interdisciplinary Indigenous Disabled Artist (Sculptor, Ceramicist, Textile, Illustration, Painter and Printer), All Ages Art and Eco-Arts Educator, Nature Educator, Writer and Environmental Justice Advocate that has been in practice for over 20 years. They have published written work thru Painwise Press (Mayan A.I.), Nuerofuzzy Press Taxonomy Press and Eco-Crips Zine.
