OXFORD, N.C. - On Sunday, September 27, the Granville County Historical Society and Museum will present "Granville Gold: Mock Tobacco Auction," an immersive farm heritage and history event at the historic Oxford Tobacco Research Station. Featuring live hourly mock tobacco auctions, distinguished agricultural speakers, and community exhibits, the event celebrates the rich leaf heritage that built Granville County.

- WHAT: Granville Gold: Mock Tobacco Auction - A community farm heritage celebration featuring live hourly mock tobacco auctions, historical exhibits, distinguished agricultural speakers, food trucks, and local vendor tents. Though admission is free, this is a fund-raiser for the Granville County Historical Society and Museum, with opportunities for purchases and donations.

- Hourly mock tobacco auctions begin at 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00 PM
