What’s Happening?

The NAMIWalks Coeur d'Alene annual fundraiser is taking place on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Riverstone Park. The main event kicks off with opening ceremonies at 9:30 AM.

Event Overview:
Local Impact: 100% of fundraising proceeds stay locally within Kootenai County.
Free Registration: Participating is free, but fundraising is highly encouraged.
Perks: Walkers raising over $100 earn an official event T-shirt.
Community Culture: Leashed, well-behaved dogs are allowed to walk alongside participants.

Core Mission and Support Services
The funds raised directly sustain the free community initiatives organized by NAMI Coeur d'Alene:
Support Groups: Financing the 9 essential monthly support groups.
Targeted Programs: Hosting peer-led NAMI Connection Support Groups and NAMI Family Support Groups for loved ones.
Education and Advocacy: Providing community mental health presentations and suicide prevention programs like QPR training.
Stigma Reduction: Eliminating barriers to care through hyper-local public awareness initiatives.
