Live Local Music Crawl in Honor of Art Wenzel

Bar Crawl Live Music Charitable Events

What’s Happening?

On Saturday, April 18 from 4 – 10 PM come downtown to celebrate and support our lively music scene. Live Local Music was the brainchild of Shep’s Brewing Co. owner Garrett Shepherd. He shared, “Live music is a big part of what makes downtown Auburn so unique and special. This event is about supporting the venues that invest in local talent to bring music to our downtown community, and we will keep the scene strong for years to come.”

Five venues partnered to present performances in one-hour time slots so patrons can move from place to place in sequence. Shep’s is the first stop, with a $20 suggested cash donation to benefit the participating venues. Auburn Downtown Partnership will supply patrons with piano-key wristbands to show their support. Here’s the music line-up and schedule:

4 – 5 PM Shep’s Brewing Co. will host Joel Kane, come at 3 PM for the pre-game.
5 – 6 PM Parker’s 129 will host keyboard and vocalist Brad Beardsley.
6 – 7 PM A. T. Walley’s will host Brian Clare, James Patterson, Ray Smith & Nora Garrett.
7 – 8 PM Moondog’s Lounge will host Dynamix.
8 – 9 PM The Armory under Prison City Pub & Brewery will host Mojo Combo.

Art upheld a passion for living out loud, attested by his character and wardrobe. So, piano scarves and Jams shorts attire are highly encouraged for this event. Come out to celebrate Art and support the venues that keep Auburn weird. If the planets align, we may even light up the entire State Street block with new roofline lighting- Aloha!
