Cincy on Tap: Bourbon, Beer & Wine Streetcar Tour

Tours History Other Beer, Wine, Spirits

What’s Happening?

A truly great tour is about more than just food or drink—it’s about the experience. The Cincinnati on Tap Tour is unlike any other downtown tour, offering an evening of bourbon, wine, and beer tastings paired with great stories and local insight.

Just as bourbon has grown far beyond Kentucky, Cincinnati is proudly sharing the story of its high-quality distilled spirits. At Riverside Food Tours, we believe a spirits tour should be more than hopping from place to place. Our experience blends education, storytelling, and fun, so you leave with a deeper appreciation for Cincinnati’s craft scene and the small local businesses behind it.

What's Included:

5 Bourbon Pours
Serving Dean's Roasted Cashews.
2 Glasses of Wine
Small bites of salami, cheese & chips
1 Flight of Craft Beer
German Pretzel
3-hour guided tour
Food guide & streetcar map

Cincinnati is a truly spirit-filled city—and this tour raises a glass to where it all began.

Cincinnati’s German heritage helped shape its legendary beer scene. In fact, before Prohibition, the city was producing nearly one-third of the nation’s beer, making it one of the most important brewing centers in America.

And let’s talk wine. Beginning in the 1830s, Nicholas Longworth put Cincinnati on the map, earning it recognition as the birthplace of American wine.

While Kentucky may claim the title of Bourbon Capital of the World, Cincinnati has its own powerful bourbon story. Irish immigrant William J. McRoberts Jr. founded Willow Run Distillery in the greater Cincinnati area in 1865 and played a heroic role in history, helping enslaved people escape by hiding them in bourbon barrels as they crossed the Ohio River.

We’ll celebrate Cincinnati’s humble beginnings by visiting three modern-day makers who are carrying the tradition forward, with stops highlighting craft beer, bold bourbon whiskey, and award-winning wines brewed and bottled right here in the region.
This is more than a tasting—it’s a spirited journey through Cincinnati’s bold, flavorful past and its exciting present. Cheers to that.
