The Many Faces of Mardi Gras

Other Arts and Culture Mardi Gras Art Exhibition

What’s Happening?

Glass and metal artists Teri Walker and Chad Ridgeway are bringing the magic of New Orleans to Third Degree Glass for a two-month exhibition titled, The Many Faces of Mardi Gras. The show highlights some of the couple's favorite aspects of carnival season.

From the musical second lines and huge parades to the grandiose balls and king cake pastries, New Orleans knows how to celebrate life in style! It's what first brought Teri to New Orleans after graduating from the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto in 1996. Chad supported himself as a cook while attending art school and gradually made his way to New Orleans in 1999. The two met, fell in love, and created RidgeWalker Glass, a home studio and gallery that has allowed them to teach the local community and create their own whimsical, colorful art to sell to locals and tourists alike.

They have been a fixture at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Fest for 24 years and have exhibited their work all along the Gulf Coast, from Texas to Florida.
