A pomander, from French pomme d'ambre, i.e., apple of amber, is a ball made for perfumes. More recently the word pomander has been used to describe a type of potpourri made from oranges studded with cloves.

Make a sweet-smelling, take-home pomander that (if made properly) can last for years with a lovely scent that reminds us of the holidays. All ages are welcome to participate!

The Museum will provide all of the materials needed to make a pomander or two. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to lead the activity. Drop by any time 11:00am - 2:00pm to participate.
