First Friday September 5th @ Arch Enemy Arts

Art Gallery Opening Reception Art Exhibition

What’s Happening?

Arch Enemy Arts welcomes you on First Friday, September 5th for the opening reception of seven new exhibtions featuring both local and international artists. From the whimsical paintings of Thomas Ascott to the ornate beaded sculptures by Rebecca Reeves, functional porcelain ceramics by Annette Janelle to surreal still lifes by Alex Sugar, ornate altered books by Isobelle Ouzman and the wild gourd-sculpted masks by Kristen Egan—this is a First Friday you won't want to miss.

Along with these six solo features, we are also bringing back one of our favorite group exhibitions AS ABOVE SO BELOW, designed to feature works not tied to a single perspective. Now in its fifth iteration, each piece in the show has the unique ability to be flipped or rated, with some even spinning in place, inviting viewers to shift perspectives and find balance in new and unexpected ways.

To learn more, visit @archenemyarts. AEA is always free and open to the public, but every First Friday we keep our doors open late, from 5 - 9 pm, in celebration of our new exhibitions. We hope to see you! 109 Arch Street in Old City, Philadelphia.
