Flavors of Central Asia: A Bukharian Cooking Experience
BeBe’s is excited to partner with Chef Liat for an unforgettable evening of hands-on cooking, storytelling, and bold, beautiful flavors. Chef Liat will guide you through the rich culinary traditions of Bukharian and Central Asian cuisine — a vibrant fusion shaped by the Silk Road and influenced by Persian, Uzbek, Russian, and Jewish cultures.

Rooted in heritage and bursting with warmth, Bukharian dishes are known for their comforting textures, aromatic spices, and deep family traditions. In this class, you’ll not only cook — you’ll experience the stories, techniques, and soul behind each recipe.

What You’ll Learn & Cook
- Korean Carrot Salad
A bright, tangy staple in Bukharian homes — made with garlic, coriander, vinegar, and just the right amount of heat.

- Dushpara
Delicate, hand-folded dumplings filled with a flavorful mixture of spiced beef. (A vegetarian version will also be available). Served in a richly seasoned sauce with chickpeas, sour plums, and fresh herbs like cilantro.

What to Expect
-A fully hands-on cooking experience
-Step-by-step guidance from Chef Liat
-Traditional techniques with tips for recreating them at home
-Wine and drinks served throughout the session
-A printed recipe guide and spice list to take home
-Enjoy your homemade meal in a relaxed, communal setting — served with traditional Bukharian bread
-Plenty of time for Q&A, cultural stories, and kitchen conversation
Come hungry to learn, cook, and connect — and leave with the skills and inspiration to bring Central Asian flavors into your own kitchen.
