The Emma Langford Trio

Dinner Other Beer, Wine, Spirits Folk & Traditional

What’s Happening?

Emma Langford blends folk, traditional and contemporary sounds and styles, offering an insight through her work into Irish folklore, history, and many of life's universal truths. Her much loved ballad The Winding Way Down to Kells Bay, and epic anthem Birdsong have both topped the Irish charts, and helped solidify her place on the Irish and international music scene. 2024 saw the release of two brand new singles, Boys Will Be Boys (F*** That) and Hunting The Hare, both of which carry strong and unequivocal messages around violence against women, animal welfare, and toxic masculinity.

The artist has received multiple awards for her work, including an RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Award, the Music Network Ireland RESONATE residency, and the inaugural Dolores O'Riordan Bursary. She has played Ireland’s National Concert Hall alongside acclaimed conductor Éimear Noone and the National Symphony Orchestra, premiering new original works inspired by Ireland's pirate queen, Gráinne Mhaol. She is also a member of star-studded collective Irish Women In Harmony. Langford has played sold out solo shows internationally, and has shared stages with some of the island's best loved songwriters such as Declan O'Rourke, Paul Brady, Mary Coughlan, Mick Flannery and Wallis Bird.

In 2025 she is touring the US, the UK, Germany and Denmark, as well as at home, and is working on the release of her next studio album.
