Super Saturday - Suncatchers and Stained Glass

Spring Summer Other Arts and Culture

What’s Happening?

Capture the magic of stained glass at this vibrant Super Saturday! Inspired by the Brooks’ stunning Tiffany and Renaissance stained glass pieces, you’ll create your own transparent suncatcher using shrinky dinks, markers, and a bit of heat. Hang it in your window and watch the colors dance in the sunlight. Super Saturday is free and open to all every Saturday from 10 AM to 12 PM — no experience needed, just your imagination!

Super Saturday takes place every week during the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art free hours from 10a-12p. Guests can enjoy drop in art making and curated gallery guides to give them a closer look at the art on view. All ages are welcome! Please register in advance.

Major annual support for Museum Education is provided by the Windgate Foundation, City of Memphis, First Horizon Foundation, Tennessee Arts Commission, National Endowment for the Arts, ARTSmemphis, and the Urban Child Institute.

The museum and all its programs are made possible by the generous support of museum members. Members enjoy free daily admission to Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and receive discounts of up to 50% on ticketed events. Join today at thebrooks.org/join
