The Laura Meade Trio

Jazz Music Dinner Live Music

What’s Happening?

Laura Meade is a classically trained soprano and singer-songwriter with a special fondness for the American Songbook. She is a pianist, musical theatre performer, vocalist in a progressive rock band (IZZ), and solo artist.

Laura is currently performing her unique set of standards with upright bass and piano and recently played to a sold out house at The Jazz Loft in Stony Brook, Long Island.

Meade's most recent album of original music, The Most Dangerous Woman in America (available on Spotify and all streaming services) is a deep, personal, and emotional dive into the life of actress Jean Seberg and has received wide acclaim, including this from Prog Magazine in the UK: “Both vigorously timely and gently subversive…this is a release dominated by big, adventurous songs with coolly intricate arrangements and Meade’s angelic sonority a vivid and irresistible focal point.”
