Join the Language Science Station at Planet Word for a fun and interactive day of learning at the Language Science Fair in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the National Science Foundation. We invite families, educators, and language enthusiasts of all ages to discover the fascinating world of language science from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. See more event details here.

* Attend expert-led talks on how language works and shapes our world.

* Meet language scientists from the University of Maryland, Gallaudet University, Howard University, Georgetown University, and George Mason University.

All museum visitors are welcome to participate! For questions or concerns regarding accessibility needs, please contact programs@planetwordmuseum.org. Register to attend the event by reserving a General Admission pass to the museum that day.

The Language Science Station is a pop-up language science research and engagement laboratory operating at Planet Word in Washington, D.C. It is a partnership between researchers at the University of Maryland, Gallaudet University, and Howard University, and is funded by the National Science Foundation.
