The organization believes that everyone’s voice deserves to be heard and that the inclusion of diverse perspectives enriches the creative experience for all. Since its founding in 1996, Art Spark Texas has built a legacy of accessible, culturally diverse arts programming, serving more than 95,000 Texans with and without disabilities. In addition to fostering personal growth and career development, the organization offers networking opportunities in a supportive environment and provides resources for caregivers and non-disabled individuals to gain insight and empathy. By promoting groundbreaking performances and artwork by artists with disabilities, Art Spark Texas challenges perceptions of how people contribute to the arts and ensures that creative experiences are welcoming, engaging, and accessible to all.
