Summer Series 2025

Theater Performance Dancing Ballet

What’s Happening?

Experience world premieres by Amy Hall Garner, Choreographic Fellow Noelle Kayser, and the return of Matthew Neenan’s The Last Glass.

Amy Hall Garner, BalletX’s Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation Choreographer in Residence, blends innovative choreography with vibrant storytelling to create immersive dance experiences. Known for acclaimed works with New York City Ballet, Ailey, and Joffrey Ballet, she returns to BalletX for her third world premiere on the company.

Noelle Kayser was selected from over 50 international applicants as BalletX’s 2025 Choreographic Fellow. Inspired by the art of microscopic photography and the world of the unseen, this BalletX debut will take audiences on an intricate visual journey powered by Kayser’s detailed, energetic, and evocative choreography.

Matthew Neenan’s The Last Glass (2010), an audience favorite that has received standing ovations across the country, is a work that unravels with exuberance and spontaneity through a series of touching solos and duets. With inspiration from the wild street-parade sound of American indie-rock band Beirut, The Last Glass is a ballet that slowly awakens like a city, part mysterious pageant and part raucous celebration.
