Other Beer, Wine, Spirits Dinner Jazz Music

What’s Happening?

A dynamic jazz quartet that blends world music with rich ethnic influences, ENI has had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues and have received rave reviews for our electrifying live shows. Their original music creates a juxtaposition of the different genres to provoke a sense of universal recognition to deepen one’s senses. The band’s inspiration comes from multidimensional art and strives to awaken all the senses by creating space, time, depth, and clarity with a certain super-perception, awareness, introspection, and empathy through its compositions.

Anchored by Dan Purcea’s inventive guitar lines, the band’s performances feel like an aural exploration that push boundaries while respecting the roots of the music.

Percussionist Daniel Villeneuve serves as the backbone of the ensemble, deftly weaving complex rhythms that beautifully highlight passionate latin percussion and classic jazz cymbals work. The end product is an infectious rhythm section that is a feast for the senses, and an irresistible invitation to dance.

Ramon Radosav, the band’s violinist, provides the perfect virtuosity to the robust rhythm section. His mastery of the instrument brings out the rich world folklore influences in the music, allowing the audience to feel a connection with the cultural heritage that underpins the band’s sound.

Rafael Castro adds depth to the music with innovative jazz piano playing, punctuating the performances with a warmth that is as palpable as it is captivating.

"ENI blend improvisational jazz and oriental folklore into a unique, irresistible vibe to end the torpor of all winters” says Dorian Branea, Musical Director at the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, where ENI were invited to debut the 2023 string of jazz and fusion concerts to complement RCINY’s flagship of classical music program, The Enescu Soirees of New York.

ENI’s music is a unique fusion of jazz traditions and global sounds, creating an immersive experience that resonates with diverse audiences and their live performances have consistently captivated crowds and left a lasting impression.

" The band's unique and irresistible vibe has been recognized by the ethno-jazz community, and this series of performances is a testament to their talent and dedication."
