About this event

Now in its eigth year, the Poetry & Music Project connects student poets and their words with composers to create original music and explore the connections between poetry and music.

Join Opera Omaha on Saturday, May 3 at 1pm for the 24/25 Poetry & Music Project Concert at the Omaha Conservatory of Music. This event is free and open to the public.

This concert will premiere 13 original pieces with words from poems selected from Nebraska students and set to music by professional composer Sidney Marquez Boquiren and hip-hop artist Lite Pole.
