What’s Happening?

Group and individual sound healing meditations work with intention, breath and sound to encourage the body, mind and energy of a person to consider a more harmonious state. When we work with sound, we are able to connect in a non-verbal way to create a space for reflection and open expression.

Some of the benefits of sound healing meditations include a reduction of stress, anxiety and depression. We are able to invite increased focus, creativity, and a different perspective with sound. We are able to allow the body and mind to experience deep rest and relaxation. It is also possible for individuals to release physical pain and discomfort from the body during a session. Music and sound have been proven to have profound effects on our behavior, attitude, and our health. So much that the National Institute of Health has invested $20 million dollars for research in this field of care.

The sounds during the meditations provide the mind a focal point to work with so we are able to redirect the focus with intention. When we are able to change the pattern or what we are focusing on, we are able to change the neural pathway that the mind might typically follow. We allow the mind to practice something different and this allows change to occur with new awareness.

Jessica Neideffer has been studying and practicing energy work and sound healing since 2007. She continues to hone her skills and learn with other teachers to become more aware in her practice allowing her to be of service to all types of people. Jessica works in the highest integrity and is devoted to healing on this journey.
