What’s Happening?

Born in Rochester New York, Guitarist Michael Stark educated at Eastman School of Music
and Berklee College of Music before graduating from Musicians Institute. Michael Stark has
been creating music professionally for over 30 years.
Michael Stark has shared the stage with world class musicians like Kenny Kirkland, John
Patitucci, Jeff Tain Watts, Ronnie Burrage, Wallace Roney, Frank Lacy, Essiet Okon Essiet,
and many more. His original music was featured in "Guitar Player" magazine.
Michael currently works in multiple ensembles performing originals as well as covers from
all genres, with emphasis on Jazz, Blues, Soul, and Funk.

Upright bassist Preston Murphy studied jazz bass performance at Berklee College Of Music
from 1998-2002. He has been playing professionally for over 20 years.
Preston has played with world class musicians such as guitar great Tony Purrone for the past
15 years, Ed Soph, Winard Harper, Steve Davis, Bruce Williams, Garland Cleaver, Frank
Tiberi and many others over the years. He also played on a recording which received 4.5
stars in downbeat magazine under the leadership of Matt Criscuolo called "Headin Out." He
has played in many different ensemble settings and many different musical genres over
theyears.

Drummer Joe Corsello was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut. Joe has made a
lifetime commitment to playing drums and continually striving to reach new highs in the
drumming world.Some of Joe’s latest works can be heard on BIG FISH MUSIC’s production of cinematic
percussion sounds. Joe studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass., under the
watchful eye of drum legend Alan Dawson.
In New York City Joe was house drummer for Michael’s Pub, backing such jazz artists as
Red Norvo, Joe Venuti, Dave McKenna, Hank Jones, Zoot Simms, and pianist, Marian
McPartland.Joe currently travels with saxophonist Sonny Rollins and can be heard on recordings with Rollins, Marian McPartland, Benny
Goodman, Steve Marcus, Ralph Lalama, Mike Moore, Sal Salvadore, Gene Bertoncini, Mike Mainari and the list goes on......
