"A Woman Just Can't Win." is a short story recently published in English and Spanish as part of a collection called "Desde el centro de América. Miradas alternativas," from Alfaguara México (Penguin Random House). By editor, Gloria Hernández. The entire book is in Spanish, except for this particular story, which has English and Spanish versions in the book.

About Holly Edgell:
Holly Edgell is a dynamic and accomplished journalist, educator, and author with a rich cultural background. Born in Belize City, Belize, Holly spent her formative years living in various countries, including Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Somalia, due to her parents' international careers.Holly's professional experience spans television and digital journalism, teaching, and social media. She has worked for several media outlets, including WCPO-TV, KSHB-TV, and KCUR 89.3, and has taught journalism at Florida A&M University and the Missouri School of Journalism. Her work has taken her to various cities in the United States, including Cincinnati, Kansas City, Cleveland, and St. Louis.Holly is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists.
