Join Eileen Engel and John Powel Walsh for an enchanting evening of festive melodies as they journey through the rich musical traditions of Christmas from around the world!

Eileen Engel holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Southeast Missouri State University and has performed at The Fabulous Fox Theatre, New Jewish Theatre, Variety Theatre, Playhouse at Westport Plaza, Stray Dog Theatre, Bluff City Theater, Blue Strawberry, The Midnight Co., Soul Siren Playhouse, St. Louis Actor’s Studio, Fly North Theatricals, COCA, Little Theatre on the Square, New Line Theatre, Thin Air Theatre Company, McLeod Summer Playhouse, St. Louis Shakespeare, R-S Theatrics, & more. She has been nominated for St. Louis Theatre Circle Awards for her performances as Ocean (Ride The Cyclone) & Rosa Bud (The Mystery of Edwin Drood).

John Powel Walsh has had a life-long love affair with music, beginning with lessons in both piano and organ in elementary school, continuing with organ lessons and music theory in high school under Dr. Mario Salvador, and studying organ and conducting with Dr. Ronald Arnatt at the University of Missouri St. Louis. His Masters in Organ Performance and Choral Conducting is from Washington University in St. Louis. John has studied at the Haarlem International Academy for organists in the Netherlands and, to round out his choral directing skills, studied voice coaching and pedagogy with Dr. Joseph Beck. John has served as the organist and harpsichordist for the Bach Society Of St. Louis and the Ronald Arnatt Chorale, and was the founder of the St. Cecelia Consort, the St. Louis Hills Arts Council, and The Archangel Players which celebrates its 44nd Anniversary this year. Currently he is Organist and Director of the Schola at the St. Louis Abbey and Priory School(English Benedictines) and Organist at the St. Joseph Shrine in Downtown St. Louis. John is a Life Member of the American Guild of Organists, The Association of Anglican Musicians and The American Theatre Organist Society. John can be heard on multiple recordings including Pie Jesu, Midnight Clear, Angels Bending Near the Earth, Songs of Eugene Field, Season of Grace and Emerald Tribute, honoring the great Irish singer, John McCormack.
