Drummer Charles Heath opens our Third Tuesday Jazz Series season with an intimate performance in Café Logan.

Charles “Rick” Heath IV is a world renowned drummer, educator, and producer who has toured and recorded with Ramsey Lewis, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Philip Bailey of Earth, Wind, and Fire and many others. Currently, Charles is as adjunct professor at Columbia College and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Charles Heath is constantly breaking barriers as an humanitarian and musician, leading with first class professionalism and style.

ABOUT THE SERIES
The Hyde Park Jazz Society selects local jazz musicians and those with a Chicago connection to perform on the third Tuesday of every month at Café Logan. The Café will offer its full menu for purchase, including wine, beer, and a coffee bar. Third Tuesday Jazz is presented by the Logan Center, Hyde Park Jazz Society, and 90.9FM WDCB Jazz Radio.

Admission is free; seating is first come, first served.
Parking is free in surface lot at 60th and Drexel Avenue.
