Kirk Elliott. Natural. Mystic. Photos. Virtual Art Show and Chat.

Multi-Cultural Art Gallery Art Exhibition

What’s Happening?

Hailing from Saint Lucia, Master Photographer, Sustainable Tourism Ambassador, and National Geographic Certified Educator, Kirk Elliott was invited to explore a monographic project with Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator (DVCAI) and its DVCAI Photo Collective.

Entitled Kirk Elliott. Natural. Mystic. Photos., the exhibition speaks to the artist’s intuitive selection of subjects and his connection to the land and peoples of St Lucia, as seen through the camera lens. It presents a new body of sixteen limited-edition photographs for collection. As part of the one-month program and affordable artwork sales, DVCAI will present an artist interview on its website. Public programming includes an artist talk that shares the photography, cultural work, and dedication of this prominent Saint Lucian photographer.

Sunday, September 15 – Monday, October 14, 2024, Kirk Elliott. Natural. Mystic. Photos. is hosted on the DVCAI Photo Collective website, https://www.dvcaiphoto.org/kirkelliott.
Works for sale support the artist and the presenting non-profit organization Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator. Artist highlights will be active on DVCAI’s IG account @dvcai during the exhibition’s run. For artwork inquiries, please visit link info@dvcai.org or call 786-306-0191.

Sunday, October 6, 2024, 4 pm - 5 pm EST on Zoom
Natural. Mystic. Photos. Chat. presents the artist Kirk Elliott in conversation with DVCAI Photo Collective founder and documentary photographer, Roy A. Wallace. Elliott is the founder of the popular St Lucia Photo Tour, a niche tourism excursion that aims to showcase authentic Saint Lucian culture through the lens of photography. Wallace recently participated in the tour with Elliott. Join us as they recount the experience and lead us to explore the question, “What does a group of photographers who interact collectively experience? What was overlooked and what was discovered? To engage our other senses, the owner of Orlando’s in St. Lucia, Celebrity Chef Orlando Satchell shares a recipe from his region. A Caribbean playlist closes out the chat session.
