Sports Night at aGLIFF's PRISM 37 LGBTQ+ Film Festival

Movies Festival FIlm

What’s Happening?

aGLIFF's PRISM 37 LGBTQ+ Film Festival announces "Sports Night" with dueling sports-themed Centerpiece Narrative films on Friday, August 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Galaxy Theatres Austin.

Moviegoers are invited to don their favorite sports jerseys for not one, but TWO Centerpiece Narratives: "Riley", directed by Benjamin Howard, explores the clashing emotions and pent-up passions of a beloved high school football star, while "Rivière," a French film by Hugues Hariche, follows a determined 17-year-old girl on her journey to become a professional hockey player, experiencing new friendships and first love along the way.

It's a football vs. hockey lineup with general admission tickets for each film running $15.00 + service fees. Weekend badges are available for $125.00 + service fees and include all five days of the film festival (Aug 21-25). Guests can also opt to purchase a "Galaxy Pass" this year for $50.00 to access any festival films playing at the Galaxy Theatres Austin on Friday or Saturday.

"Sports Night" is sponsored in part by Midtown Independent Title, BookWoman, and Austin Pride.

Get the full film lineup + information on weekend badges, passes and tickets at agliff.org/prism-37.
