WELCOME!
Your journey starts here. She Tris Sprint Triathlon all women's events, formerly known in North Carolina as Ramblin' Rose, are designed for women of all skill levels, ages and backgrounds to experience triathlons in an encouraging environment.  Join us at all our events in South Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Charlotte (Huntersville), Chapel Hill, Mount Pleasant (SC) and Summerville (SC).

Course Distance: 250 YARD SWIM – 9 MILE BIKE – 2 MILE RUN

When you sign up for a She Tris event you receive:

  • Complimentary training plan
  • Informative clinics
  • Group support during your training
  • Approachable distances (including a pool swim)
  • She Tris tank
  • Finish line photos
  • Finishers keepsake

Swim: Your event kicks off with a 250 yard swim in the beautiful and spacious aquatic facility of the Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics Center. Participants will exit through the side door of the building and take a short run to the transition area.  Swimmers will be self seeded according to the swim ability chart. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with lining up for the swim. You will be provided with a swim cap if you choose to wear it. After the swim, you'll experience the exhilaration of exiting the pool to the sound of cheers as you make your way to the transition area.

Bike: The bike course is a 9 mile, 1 loop course. Participants start downhill on Verhoeff Drive (proceed downhill cautiously), riders will turn right and head north on Statesville Road.  The bike course then goes along Mt. Holly/Huntersville Road into the Julian Clark business park. Upon exiting the business park, athletes will ride along McCoy Road and then Hambright Road, Mt. Holly Huntersville Rd and Alexandria Rd before returning back to Statesville Road to complete the loop. Be sure to prepare yourself as you ride up the Verhoeff Drive hill, and before you know it you are back in the transition area. Yes, there are hills, but you can do this!

Run: Runners will exit the Transition Area and run up and down Verhoeff Drive (closed to traffic) as well as around the Huntersville Athletic Park. There will be an aid station positioned at Mile 1 just before your second loop. You’ll be able to cheer and high five your fellow participants on the 2 loop course.

Aquathlon- Aquathlon is simply swim and run. This is a great introduction into multisport. No worry about biking and great for daughters to participate with mom, aunt or grandma!

*triathlon, aquathlon, and relay options available.

Finish line party: Celebrate with your family and friends and take in your accomplishment!

The mission of She Tris is to create a welcoming and supportive triathlon environment for women and girls who want to complete a triathlon, regardless of their level of experience. By tackling the challenge of triathlon, we believe our participants will feel empowered to take on other challenges in life, be it personal or professional, and that the impact of She Tris will reach beyond the finish line into the lives of these women and those they influence along the way.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT
She Tris requires youth participants to be a minimum of 10 years of age on 12/31/24.
