Nashville based Damn The Banjos consists of four highly respected sidemen that have recorded and toured with artists as diverse as Emmy Lou Harris, Steve Winwood, Steve Earle & the Dukes, Vassar Clements, Mary Chapin Carpenter, the Brian Setzer Orchestra and that’s just the tip of the musical iceberg. Between them they also have no less than ten solo/singer/songwriter albums to their credit. They are completing their first album of new originals as we speak, expected to be released this winter. Everyone in DTB sings, writes and contributes to their mix of rock n roll, bluegrass, R&B and country music. And they all hail from NC/VA..

Mark W. Winchester adds electric and upright bass, Mark spent several years on the road with ‘Emmylou Harris and the Nash Ramblers’, also several years with Brian Setzer Orchestra and Brian’s other ventures. He is one of the best in the world.

Dann Sherrill is on drums & percussion, Dann has spent many years in Nashville teaching Brazillian rhythms, producing video’s.. He has toured with Stevie Winwood, Engleburt, and many many more…. Everyone in Nashville knows Dann.

Michael McAdam, a Richmond native plays electric, slide and acoustic guitars. McAdam is no stranger to Virginia audiences as the founder of Richmond’s Good Humor Band.
