FROG WALK AT POWDERMILL

Science Educational Hiking

What’s Happening?

Join us at sunset for a walk around the Powdermill Nature Reserve property to see/hear the various frogs in our area. This event will be hosted by AAron Capouellez, president of the nonprofit Woods and Forest Inc. This nonprofit, and Capouellez by extension, advocates for the wellbeing of amphibian and pollinator insects. As an attendee, you will be able to learn the various sounds made by frogs, their importance to our ecosystem, and what can be done to ensure the health of these delicate animals. This walk will take you to areas of the nature reserve that are typically closed to the public. Pants and boots are a must! All ages are welcome!
