Nebraska Founder Hike // August 2021

What’s Happening?

NEBRASKA FOUNDER HIKE // Saturday, August 14, 2021
8:00am Breakfast | 9:30am Hike Starts | 11:00am Wrap-up

Join us at Platte River State Park for our second Founder Hike of 2021.

If you're a founder and enjoy hiking with like-minded people, then you absolutely have to attend. This is a very low-key, informal event with no agenda. We're just coming together as the startup community to create a unique way for founders to connect with each other and share stories about what everyone is working on. You might walk away from this event with a new idea on how to tackle a problem you're facing or maybe meet your co-founder. Who knows? Serendipity is a crazy thing, so come out and see what it might have in the works for you.

THE DETAILS
Platte River State Park has a $6 per day entry fee. You can pay this upon arrival the station as you enter the park.

8:00am
The breakfast buffet at the Walter Scott Jr. Lodge is pretty tasty, so for those who are early risers and want to kick the day off on a full belly, we'll be gathering at 8am at the lodge (turn right from the attendant station at the entrance and look for the observation tower).

9:30am
After breakfast, we'll find our way over to the trailhead for the start of the hike at 9:30am. The trailhead is located about a quarter of a mile from where you enter the park and pay the entry fee (turn left if you are entering the park). It's a small parking lot and will be on your right towards the bottom of the hill. If you're skipping breakfast, feel free to meet us there at this time.

Once everyone is gathered you can choose to hike with someone you know or branch out and meet someone new. The choice is yours. Just be willing to share what you're experiencing as an entrepreneur and listen to others as they share their stories.

Code of Conduct
By participating in this Founder Hike, you are agreeing to our code of conduct. The Nebraska Startup Community is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, national origin, political affiliation, veteran status, or branch of military service.
