This research project explores the influence of Marcus Garvey's philosophy on Black Judaic/Jewish groups in Virginia, highlighting their unique perspective on religion and identity, and it seeks to document this historical context through video and photograph. The project addresses the need for a comprehensive understanding of the historical development of Black Judaic organizations in Virginia, sheds light on the impact of Garveyism, and contributes to preserving and interpreting Virginia's history and the broader historical community.
