In the late 19th century, streets like Lincoln, Grant, Logan and Pennsylvania boasted the most prestigious addresses in the city. Join us on Wednesday, May 22, from 5-7:30 PM for our next installment of Cocktails in Cool Places: Night Out in Capitol Hill. For this event, you'll experience a progressive tour featuring appetizers and drinks at three iconic Capitol Hill locations:
• Keating Mansion, built in 1891 by Jeffery and Mary Keating, just before the silver crash of 1893, showcasing the opulence of the era.
• Croke Patterson Campbell Mansion, a Chateauesque manor constructed of red sandstone in 1891, once owned by Thomas M. Patterson, a prominent U.S. Senator and editor of the Rocky Mountain News.
• Denver Woman's Press Club, founded in 1898, which played a pivotal role in advocating for women's rights, including the suffrage movement.
