Benalto Film Series: tout Va Bien

Movies Discussion FIlm

What’s Happening?

The Benalto Film Series brings the classics back to life with screenings of films from the Criterion Collection, curated by local filmmakers, movie buffs and historians. After the screening they will lead us through conversation and audience talk backs on the films that made Hollywood blossom.

This month local documentarian and filmmaker, Joshua Labure, presents Tout Va Bien.
Tout Va Bien is a 1972 French-Italian political drama film directed by Jean-Luc Godard and collaborator Jean-Pierre Gorin, starring Jane Fonda and Yves Montand. It was released in the United States under the title All's Well and internationally under the title Just Great.
The Godard/Gorin collaboration continued with the featurette Letter to Jane as a postscript to Tout va bien.

Joshua will be joined by Breht O'Shae, host of the popular podasts RevLeft Radio and Red Menace exploring left wing/marxist history.
