History Museum Exhibit Specials

What’s Happening?

Hear racy tales and explore taboo topics while sipping cocktails with our 1340 Penn Program Series at the historic home of Margaret “Molly” Brown.  From Salon de Paris to en plein air, the “New Women” of the late 19th century were bucking trends and pushing societies limits. Explore the female artists who Margaret celebrated by hanging works in her home and other artists who fought for the same recognition as male painters.
