What’s Happening?

Join us in Thrive City for our annual Black History Month Celebration presented by Waymo on Monday, February 19th! Enjoy live entertainment from Queen Iminah & AAFE Kids and Diamano Coura West African Dance Company! Thrive City is also partnering with RSVP while supplies last.

In addition, stop by the Black History 101 Mobile Museum’s immersive Music of the Movement exhibit which delves into the powerful impact of music on the social, cultural, and political movements of the Black experience in America. The exhibit showcases the rich history and legacy of Black music, highlighting the resilience and contributions of Black people in the face of racial discrimination.

The exhibit features a range of cultural and historical artifacts that celebrate the important role that Black music has played in shaping American culture and society. These artifacts include vinyl records, press photos, flyers, clothing items, contracts other ephemera from iconic artists who have shaped popular culture around the world.

Eventbrite registration is highly recommended and will receive priority access to the event. If the event is sold out, limited walkup registrations may be available on a first-come, first-served basis day of the event.

No Alcohol brought on plaza
All Pets^ on a leash
No Coolers
No Lawn Chairs
Non-surgical masks will not be allowed; guests must be easily identifiable. Limited face paint will be accepted.
No Panhandling, solicitation, or loitering
No Smoking of any kind
No Amplified sound
No Drones
No Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades or scooters (bicycles can be locked at any rack on streets around the venue)
No Motorized vehicles
No Pamphlets or product samples
No Overnight camping
No Tents
All Garbage, bottles, cans, paper, or other waste matter should be placed in designated trash and recycling receptacles
No Trespassing when Thrive City is closed
Any other prohibited items, activity, or behaviors deemed unsafe, or unacceptable by Chase Center Management
