What’s Happening?

Intown Jewish Academy Presents

Escape from Cairo
One Person’s Journey from Hate to Love

An Online Event with Hussein Aboubakr Mansour
Author & Human Rights Activist

Sunday, June 20 | 7:00 pm

Growing up in Cairo, Hussein Aboubakr Mansour was raised to hate Israel and the Jewish people, whom he was taught were the world’s “supervillains.”

But as he got older, he began to explore things for himself. He learned Hebrew and studied Israeli and Jewish culture. What he discovered would radically change his life. It would lead him to endure reprisals and persecutions, and ultimately, to advocate on behalf of his once sworn enemy.

Join us for an evening of love, courage, and the power of transformation as author and human rights activist Hussein Aboubakr Mansour shares his incredible story.

Registration $10
Sponsorship Opportunities Available
Sponsors will be acknowledged and receive a copy of Hussein’s book “Minority of One: The Unchaining of an Arab Mind”

Please note that this is an online event. Exclusive access will be given upon registration.
