Join us for another Monday evening of art activation in the Lobby of InterContinental Miami Hotel, featuring a local Miami artist creating their latest work. Each month, a new artist is showcased, offering visitors an expansive introduction to our vibrant city's diverse array of artistry. Noche de Arte is open to the public and free to attend.
This week, meet South Florida artist, Louie Diamondz, aka Louiedeology. His distinct Hip Hop aesthetic is influenced by decades of experience as a Bboy, poet, archivist, and DJ. At the core of his artistry lies his original concept of "Molecular Constellations," which weaves a continuous line through his body of work. Each piece blends simplicity and complexity in geometric and organic compositions. This concept emerged from his studies in astronomy, metaphysics, archaeology, and other disciplines, emphasizing interconnectedness and the relationship between individual parts and the whole.
Louie is a part of PATH, Inc: Preserving, Archiving & Teaching Hiphop, Inc. collaboARTive presents this program in partnership with PATH, Inc., InterContinental Miami Hotel, Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, Miami Downtown Development Authority, Font Squared, and with support from the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs.
