4TH ANNUAL PATRIOTIC PARADE - SATURDAY, MAY 25, 2024

Parades Memorial Day Veteran

What’s Happening?

The Fourth Annual Patriotic Parade will highlight Women Athletes in addition to honoring our nation's Gold Star Families, Military Veterans and First Responders. Over 30 members of the Big Red One Band from Fort Riley's 1st Infantry Division will make their first appearance, while Fort Riley's Mounted Patrol returns for the fourth year.

There will be 90-100 entries, among them military re-enactors, military vehicles, children and adults in costume representing our nation's history, restored Civil War wagon, horses and wagons, car clubs, motorcycles and so much more!

The Saturday morning Patriotic Parade begins at 10am heading west from 10th & Jackson to 12th Street, then North to Harney and east to 10th before turning south on 10th to Howard where it turns west to 12th, then south to Jackson, where it will end.

Following the parade, women athletes will be signing autographs near Hollywood Candy at 12th & Jackson and Hy-Vee will be giving away free hotdogs, chips and a drink.

This is a not-to-be missed weekend event to emphasize the importance of honoring our fallen military who paid the ultimate price for our freedom, while celebrating America. Bring your kids, grandkids, neighbors & friends, and plan for a beautiful day in downtown Omaha.

More about Patriotic Productions, Inc.
We are a patriotic non-profit whose mission is to honor our living and fallen veterans, while instilling patriotism in Americans. A Patriotic Parade is held each Memorial Day Weekend in Downtown Omaha to honor our Nation's Gold Star Families, Military Veterans and First Responders. Additionally, there are two (traveling) identical "Remembering Our Fallen" National Memorials that honor our Nation's Post-9/11 military Fallen. More locally, we have a Purple Heart Balloon, Tomb of the Unknown (half-size replica), and state memorials for Iowa & Nebraska of our Fallen who called those states home. Between 2008-2019, Patriotic Productions flew 3,500 Veterans to Washington, D.C., and we created a "Flights of Honor" exhibit to share these wonderful memories.
